The El Chete by TOPS Knives was designed with one thought in mind... chopping. It's got a full-tang 1/4 inch thick blade that's a full foot long, and it chops very well. Even though it's so large, the knife still weighs in under 2 pounds. El Chete is the first TOPS knife to be released with their wicked new finish called Acid Rain which varies slightly from knife to knife so each knife is unique. The sandwiched Micarta handles are thick enough to fill your hand like a hatchet or small ax handle would. The handle is well rounded for comfort and the black canvas Micarta underneath the green canvas Micarta adds even more to the aesthetics of this piece.
The sheath is an out-the-front design with all the bells and whistles. You just pull up slightly then out the front so that you don't have to strain to pull the knife all the way up through the sheath. There is a strap that when snapped into place, helps immensely with the retention of the blade. TOPS Knives also made it available with a rotating spring steel clip or a leather dangler attachment so that each user picks the right fit for him or her.

Skullcrusher’s Xtreme Blade (SXB) was designed for the Warrior Survivalist to aid in their survival not only in the wild, but on the battlefield as well. Designer, EJ Snyder is an Xtreme Survivalist and Adventurer in real life and as seen on TV. He is also a highly decorated, 25-year Army Combat Vet who served in the 1991 Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. EJ knows what it takes to survive in a multitude of extreme situations from the wilderness to combat, and he has been tested and proven every time.
EJ wanted to design a modern day blade that honors the spirit of the pioneers of the past but meets the demands of an ever evolving modern world, and a tactical survival tool that is as tough, durable, and dependable as he is; one that every warrior, survivalist, and outdoorsman couldn’t live without. The SXB is the Xtreme Tool for any Xtreme Job!
EJ's quest for such a knife started on the Serengeti Plains of Tanzania, Africa while conducting a 21 day Xtreme Survival challenge on "Naked and Afraid". The knife EJ took with him, being the only piece of equipment he had, did not perform well in the field and became non-functional. It is potentially disastrous to be out there and unable to rely on your knife. Upon his return to the U.S., EJ tested many knives, sought out the advice of many top custom knife makers he personally knew, and spent countless hours researching all aspects of the art of knife making. A lot of influences, needs, and rigorous tests went into the thought process and design behind the SXB Knife . His 2 year journey culminated with the creation of his vision by TOPS Knives.

TOPS Knives Machete .230, MAC-230. TOPS Knives created the Machete .230 in response to demand for a light, fast, practical and general use blade with an enlarged comfortable working handle. The Machete .230 features a 1/8 inch thick 1095 steel blade with a 15.5" cutting edge and grooved linen Micarta scales.
TOPS' good friend and well-known designer, outdoorsman and writer, Joe "Shangoman" Flowers, collaborated with TOPS shop manager, Leo "The Lion" Espinoza on the design for a new machete. After much deliberation, they finally came to a positive agreement with the design and practical field ability; the MACHETE .230 was born.
Vigorous testing in a wide variety of terrains has proved the Machete's superior field performance. To compliment the unique point on the blade and handle design, TOPS Knives custom built a ballistic nylon sheath with 2 separate (flap and buckle closure) accessory pockets. These pockets can hold an array of small tools. Get it here.
The Fieldcraft Knife was designed by The Brothers of Bushcraft, a coalition of men across North America focusing on sharing wilderness living skills of all categories. From tracking, to building shelters, the Brothers of Bushcraft make it a point to show the skills to all people, of all ages, from all over.
The knife is ten inches long in total, with a blade length of four and a half inches. This makes a compact, but extremely serviceable knife. The Fieldcraft's blade is 3/16" thick, and made of 1095 High Carbon steel. The cutting edge is a modified Scandinavian Grind, which is very effective for carving, skinning and other general woods work. With a rockwell hardness of 56-58, the ease of sharpening is astounding. That is if you ever get to sharpen the blade. As the hardness and edge geometry work beautifully together to make a long lasting edge.
The handle is one of the most ergonomic ones on the market, sporting several useful additions. Although knives with a lot of frills often end up lacking, the additional items found on the Fieldcraft knife were selected from experience and critiqued in every step of design, development and production. Being made of canvas micarta, the handle will never let you down. The bow drill divot on the handle is frictionless and makes starting those primitive fires almost effortless. The "Thumb Scallops", formed on the hilt of the handle offer more comfort and control when using specialized carving and skinning grips. The pommel of the blade is simply the tang of the knife exposed enough to allow impact from a baton to not effect the handle (though the micarta is definitely tough enough to take such abuse). On the exposed pommel, you will find a scraper specially designed by one of The Brothers of Bushcraft, for striking Ferro rods in a safe and efficient manner. Check them out at OsoGrandeKnives.com.
