TOPS Do-It-All ATAX Hand Axe

Today we are looking at the TOPS Knives ATAX hand axe designed by the late Ron Hood. The ATAX features a 4.5 inch blade of 1095 High Carbon alloy thats been hardened to 58 HRC. The overall length measures in at 5.5 inches and the blade has TOP's proprietary black traction coating which gives you enhanced rust and corrosion resistance and also a non-reflective appearance.

The ATAX can be used several ways... as a hand axe, a skinner, it's got a wire cutter, a rangefinder, a clock, a wrench, a hammer, a rescue tool, a survival kit holder, an arrow launcher, a field level, a fire bow drill holder and a survival kit holder. In fact there are so many functions of this versatile tool that an instructional DVD by Ron Hood is included.
The ATAX includes a kydex sheath and it is entirely handcrafted in the USA. The sheath is designed for belt carry both vertically and horizontally but the best method is horizontal belt carry.
