Introducing the Gerber Vital Pocket Folder 31-002736N
The Gerber Vital Pocket Folder is the folding version of the original Vital Fixed Blade Knife.
The Vital Pocket Folding knife contains a punishingly sharp blade that mimics a surgical knife that cuts through the cape of your game like a hot blade through butter.
The inclusion of its several replacement blades means you won't get caught in the middle of skinning with a dull tool. This is a knife that works fast and smart, and when the blade is burned out from heavy use, you can simply swap it out for a new blade while on the fly. It requires no extra tools for its blade replacement, so it doesn't slow the action of field dressing, while offering super-safe operation as an exchangeable blade knife.

Shefferville Big Game Hunting & Skinning Knife
The Shefferville by Lamoureux & Sons of Quebec Canada is the perfect big game hunting knife for those who appreciate fine cutlery and want a sheath carry fixed blade that is fitting to be carried into the field with their fine Weatherby rifle.
The Lamoureux and Sons Shefferville Hunting knife is handcrafted by craftsmen in Quebec, Canada. This superb fixed blade hunting knife's construction is comprised of over than 60 different steps and numerous quality controls. The Shefferville hunting knife is a great choice for skinning and processing big game.
The hollow ground drop point blade is made from S30V stainless steel alloy which is one of the best performing blade steels in terms of cutting performance and edge retention. The bolsters are crafted from Type 416 stainless steel alloy which is used both for its rigidity and resistance to corrosion.
The ergonomic handles are sculpted from beautiful Cocobolo wood which is one of the hardest woods and because of it's high oil content it is very stable and virtually impossible to rot. The unique shape of the handle has been studied and developed to provide a comfortable and safe grip while in use. The handles are permanently secured to the blade with decorative mosaic pins.
This beautiful hunting knife is protected by a hand stiched full-grain open top leather sheath which is hand crafted at the Lamoureux headquarters.
The ground in Shefferville is permafrost, which means it is frozen all year round. The most abundant type of vegetation over there is caribou lichen which feeds the gigantic population of almost one million heads. There is so many of them in Shefferville that residents often see tracks on the street and in their backyard. That does not mean these huge animals are an easy kill, only the most experienced and toughest hunters will come back with a decent trophy.

Lamoureux Matapedia Hunting Knife
We just got in the first hunting knife from Lamoureux and Sons of Quebec Canada. It's called the Matapedia.
The "Matapedia" name comes from the Micmac language, meaning "confluence". For hundreds of years, the native Micmacs tribes of the region hunted moose, as the climate was harsh for agriculture in Gaspesia. They became very successful hunters and many European pioneers coming to the New World learned from them the much-needed skills of field dressing efficiently.
This top-shelf hunting knife is handcrafted by craftsmen in Quebec, Canada and it's construction is comprised of over than 60 different steps and numerous quality controls. The Matapedia skinning knife is a great choice for skinning and processing big game. The small size, ergonomic handle and maneuverability of this model pays tribute to old-time skinning techniques which rendered maximum meat without puncturing the rumen or damaging the skin of big game.
The hollow ground drop point blade is made from S30V stainless steel alloy which is one of the best performing blade steels in terms of cutting performance and edge retention. The bolsters are crafted from Type 416 stainless steel alloy which is used both for its rigidity and resistance to corrosion. The ergonomic handles are sculpted from either beautiful Madagascar Ebony which is one of the hardest woods and because of it's high oil content it is very stable and virtually impossible to rot.

Down Under Knives The Razorback Hunting Knife
We have seen a lot of heavy blade style hunting knives that got it almost right. The New Razorback™ has all the features that work and none of the awkward blockiness often associated with this kind of knife. Not satisfied with making yet another slab of metal with as many sharp angles as you can fit in 12 inches of steel, the guys at Down Under Knives gave it pleasing curves and traditional materials that knife enthusiasts love. This one feels even better than it looks!
The back of the blade has a gentle downward curve for easy skinning and a bone cracker cut to avoid accidental piercing and to provide help in guiding the blade. The rear portion of the back has a razor sharp whittling edge for easy kindling, and the front heavy blade profile provides all the chopping and cutting power this style is famous for. The semi-full tang construction and full leather handle provide a sure grip in all conditions, wet or dry. Add a uniquely styled heavy leather sheath with genuine bone ornaments and a quick-release catch, and we figure this one's going to be tough to beat for a specialized hunting/camping knife.

Spyderco FB30GP Southfork Hunting Fixed Blade
Just in! The Spyderco Southfork Hunting Knife. Phil Wilson was bitten by the knifemaking bug in 1985. While filleting cod, he discovered first-hand he preferred a finger-guard segregating the blade from the handle to stop the hand from sliding forward onto the cutting edge. His fishing knives feature long flexible blades using superior edge-holding steels. His Southfork's finger guard positions the index finger and remaining three fingers on the handle ready for extended use and ergonomic control. Upswept tip and full-flat blade offer just the right amount of belly for field dressing, cleaning and nearly any and all outdoor chores. Check them out at OsoGrandeKnives.com.
