Kershaw knives knew the power of the Emerson Knife brand and they had the manufacturing capacity and expertise to expand the Emerson name into previously untouched markets.
The 8 new 2014 Kershaw Emerson knives were picked from Ernest Emerson's design portfolio of approximately 150 actual working and prototype knife designs. The selected knives were chosen so that budget priced Emerson knives could be available to all. Kershaw 1086 Strobe Folder
Knife users who love the look of Kershaw's Diskin Hunter--but would love it even more in a folding knife--now have their wish. The Kershaw Strobe knife takes the sweeping lines of the Diskin Hunter and turns them into a smaller, folding pocketknife. The clip-point blade offers a deep belly and opens with a handy flipper.
Thanks to the Strobe's KVT ball-bearing opening system, the blade opens smoothly and easily; just pull back on the flipper. A washer with caged ball bearings surrounds the pivot joint and the bearings rotate as the blade moves out of the handle to ensure quick, one-handed opening. A frame lock provides secure lockup.
The blade is heat treated to Kershaw's demanding specifications to bring out the best qualities in the steel, then stonewashed. The slim handle is characteristic of a Diskin knife and fits the hand securely. K-Texture™ handle overlays in glass-filled nylon provide additional grip. The pocketclip is reversible for left/right-handed carry. It's a deep-carry pocketclip so that it rides comfortably and discreetly down in the pocket.

Spyderco Dog Tag - Ultimate Concealment
When it comes to knives, size does matter, and in particular circumstances sometimes smaller knives are better. The Spyderco Dog Tag Folder, is based Serge Panchenko's popular custom Dog Tag knife, this small non-locking slip joint folding knife makes it possible to carry it just about everywhere.
The blade length is only 1.22" and it is non-locking so it is legal everywhere in the US and also in the UK. The model C188ALTIP Dog Tag knife ensures that you'll never without a sharp edge.
The handle is titanium and alluminum and it has the same size and looks of a military dog tag.
The handle houses an internal spring with a ball-bearing detent. It is mated to the chisel-ground high performance CPM S30V sheepsfoot blade by an elegant but simple pivot system and is highlighted by a color-anodized titanium backspacer which also serves a a pivot stop to avoid over rotation of the blade.
It's the perfect go-anywhere knife that's super easy to conceal.
You can get the Spyderco Dog Tag knife right here at OsoGrandeKnives.com.

QSA-1 Boss Hog Kukri
The QSA-1 Boss Hog knife is Q.E.M's first Kukri style blade. You'll see many styling cues that immediately classify the design as a Q.E.M. original.
A unique G10 machining pattern was created for the scale. At the tip, they've used a grinding technique which gives the edge an Appleseed shape & arched spine, perfect for heavy duty chopping.
They've added a G10 lock bar stabilizer for rigidity and confidence during hard use.
The 4.5 inch blade has a flipper that doubles as a finger guard and the entire package folds up friendly into standard denim pockets.
The QTRM5TR Boss Hog knife is truly a Beast that is ready for hard use!

Spyderco Kiwi 4 Pocket Knife C178GP
The Spyderco Kiwi 4 is larger than the original Kiwi knife which makes it a great EDC knife for those with large hands. The Kiwi4 features a flat ground wharncliffe style blade made of VG-10 stainless steel and it is opened easily with one hand using Spyderco trademark thumb hole.
The Kiwi 4 handle provides a secure grip and is very comfortable in hand thanks to the G10 handle and the double finger choils. Another nice feature is that the Kiwi 4 has a strong lock back mechanism that's easy to operate. For some reason Spyderco did not put the David Boye dent in the lockback on the Kiwi4.
Pocket carry is really nice thanks to Spyderco's great wire clip. If you're in the market for a super every-day-carry knife that's lightweight, smooth around the edges and won't weigh you down you should consider the Kiwi 4. Get your Spyderco Kiwi 4 right here at OsoGrandeKnives.com.

1st Look - Cold Steel 1911 Training Pistol
The new 2014 Cold Steel Colt 1911 Replica rubber training pistol just came in and I had a chance to compare it to my 1980's vintage Colt Gold Cup.
The size is exactly the same except the Cold Steel 1911 training gun has rails so you can train with a tactical flashlight mounted.
The new Cold Steel training pistol is made out of Zombie green (or what I like to call "Kawasaki Green" since Kawasaki was the originator of my favorite color of lime green) Polypropylene, and ultra-durable thermoplastic rubber.
The Colt 1911 trainer is stiff enough for practicing drawing from a holster or disarming techniques, yet still soft and safe enough to be used in hand-to-hand striking situations.
It is also available in a "Cocked" version for those of us who like to carry cocked and locked.
