Cold Steel Warcraft Tanto Combat Knife

We just received the first shipment of Cold Steel's new Warcraft Tanto and I immediately fell in love with it!  The Warcraft Tanto is the first knife in Cold Steel's new Warcraft series of combat knives and it embodies Lynn Thompsons latest thoughts and ideas regarding this truly inspiring tanto blade shape.

The blade is thicker than most of the knives on the market today. With it's tough reinforced tip, elegantly curved cutting edge and sturdy one-piece construction, it's can take a ton of abuse and still deliver on the performance end.

Expertly heat treated and sub zero quenched high quality American CPM 3-V steel was used for the blade.  It features a stout flat ground primary cutting edge and a chisel ground secondary blade bevel, both hand sharpened to hair popping sharpness. The intersection of these two blade bevels (The Yakote) forms a wickedly effective secondary point that allows for a devastating snap cut.

The Warcraft Tanto is then DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coated -- this process makes it highly rust and scratch resistant and reduces glare and minimizes friction when cutting while making the blade incredibly hard.

In hand you can feel that it is well balanced.  It feels light and highly manueverable.  The taper-ground full tang is encased in 3D machined American G10 scales. Comfortable and secure in hand, it's equally at home as a reliable workhorse or life-saving combat knife.

Rounding out the package is a Tek-Lok compatible custom molded Secure-Ex sheath which can easily be worn concealed under a coat or jacket), the Warcraft Tanto is rugged, dependable and as powerful as it is beautiful.
