Spyderco Goddard Lightweight Sprint

Wayne Goddard is a Master Bladesmith whose name in the custom knife world evokes admiration and respect. A knifemaker for more than 30 years, Wayne produced a collaboration knife with Spyderco several years back called the C16 Goddard Lightweight. Spyderco is releasing a Sprint Run of Goddard Lightweights with a different handle/clip color and updated blade steel.

The Goddard Lightweight is made with VG-10 stainless with a sturdy drop-point style 3 5/8 blade. It comes in a PlainEdge configuration and features The Spyderco trademark Round Hole. Comfortable to open and close one-handedly, the C16POD handle has a deep Volcano-Grip texture made from FRN, adding grip yet keeping the knife lightweight at 2.9 ounces. A stainless clip attaches to either side of the handle (southpaws rejoice!) with a hollowed out screw that goes through (yet still retains) the lanyard hole. Removable using a coin, the clip is situated for tip up carry in the pocket. Overall length open is 8.78 inches making the evolved Goddard collaboration CLIPIT the perfect size for indoor and outdoor cutting jobs.
